Micah Ryan is a singer/songwriter based in the Midwest. Having been introduced to music by his parents at a young age, he quickly stood out among the crowd. Micah was placed in a program for gifted, young musicians allowing for him to work personally with Bobby McFerrin and to travel the country experiencing different types of music in order to grow in his ability and understanding of music. Micah Ryan has a deep love for music-based performance and over the years has been a part of many choirs, bands, gospel groups, and theatre productions.

 

Music was always an extreme passion for Micah, but it wasn't until he touched his first guitar at the age of 21 that his journey as Micah Ryan began. Having been trained on various instruments, including piano, drums, and trumpet, Micah Ryan quickly taught himself guitar and began the process of songwriting. He has now written well over 50 original songs.

Now, some years later, he has a songwriting style unique to himself. Each song Micah writes, captures the heart through melodic music and lyrics birthed from life experience with the goal of  taking his listeners on a journey down long forgotten roads. Raw emotion and an untempered expression of his heart birth songs known for their ability to bleed the soul and enchant the mind. 

 

His debut EP, Unsaid Things, was released in 2017. The release of this album sparked much attention. Micah Ryan has been interviewed by local news papers, won local awards, and Unsaid Things is now being played on local radio.

Micah Ryan released his first full length album entitled Change The World in 2019. This too generated much publicity and earned Micah another local award. Up until then, Micah had almost exclusively played acoustically, but this album features a full band.
